Renaming DE<\/h2>

In summer of 2016, NC State Distance Education changed their name to NC State Online and Distance Education. The new name provided the perfect opportunity to redesign the website to showcase NC State\u2019s great programs and appeal more broadly to potential students.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/a><\/div><\/div>

Testing Refresh<\/h2>

In the 2015-2016 fiscal year, DELTA Testing Services underwent many changes. The biggest change was the physical relocation of the Centennial Test Center from Venture II to Venture IV in September 2015 to better accommodate the increasing number of students.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/a><\/div>

Exploring VR<\/h2>

DELTA began working with VR nearly three years ago. Realizing its importance and potential in education, DELTA has been increasingly incorporating 360\u00b0 photography, video and VR technology into instructional projects.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/a><\/div><\/div>

Instructional Enrichment<\/h2>

Videos have been used at NC State for decades. With advances in video technologies and production capabilities, DELTA continues to see a return on investment in equipment, personnel and research as it creates videos that enhance learning.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/a><\/div>

Transforming Education<\/h2>

Four of the 2015-2016 DELTA Grants projects concentrated on providing solutions for students who want to help themselves. DELTA teams created applications and media-rich interactive devices to promote learning outside of the class or lab.<\/span><\/span> <\/p><\/div><\/a><\/div><\/div>

WolfWare Outreach Grows<\/h2>

Did you know that NC State offers the only online non-credit insect rearing course in the world?
