Darren Ley

Bio

Darren is a 1987 NC State alumnus, with a BA in Communications. His career began as a TV news photographer at WPTF-TV 28 (which is now WRDC), and he has also worked in studio operations and video production for Raleigh’s Community Television. In 1993, Darren returned to NC State as a Production Assistant for video-based engineering courses in the College of Engineering, and in 2001 he became a TV Producer/Director for DELTA’s Video Communication Services (VCS) unit, producing video projects for university clients. Since 2012, the position has evolved into a Technology Support Analyst, managing the technology and daily operations of the Distance Education classrooms and facilities.
